Saying Goodbye to Colorado

So, after a few weeks of living without Jeff in Denver, we decided to pack up and go to Missouri to try and see Jeff more and see our families.

Before we left, I snapped a few pictures around our house so we could remember our little house in Colorado that we lived in for eight months. It definitely wasn't my favorite place we've lived, but it worked out for the time we were there and it was definitely the cheapest place we could find that would fit us and our stuff. Hey, a home is what you make of it, right?

Our living room looking from the doors into our backyard.

Our small, sort of messy kitchen!

This is looking at the living room from the kitchen. The gray curtains in the back lead out to the backdoor.

Stairs leading up to the bedrooms

The half-bath downstairs

Here's our welcome wreath we hang in each of our homes.

Here's looking at our front door. We installed a peep hole in the door when we moved in because was  really only one window that looked out onto the front and it was upstairs, so you couldn't see much.

Our tiny guest room getting ready to be packed up. Ironically, we had a ton of visitors stay here in such a small room during the short time we were here.

Here's our laundry nook upstairs. You couldn't even fit doors around it, so we just had curtains to close if we wanted to cover it up.

The master bedroom as we were packing up our bags.

The only full bath in our house. It had a door leading into our room and out towards the laundry nook. Sort of a strange set up, but it worked for the short time we were there.

Boone's room is on the right and the master bedroom is on the left. We stored all of Boone's books on this bookshelf so he had easy access to them.

Boone's room!

So, there you have it! Our small little home in Colorodo! While we didn't live in Colorado very long, we have great memories from our time there. I could see moving back there sometime in the future, but for now, onto our Missouri nomad adventures!
